Atlanta Street Theatre accepts a limited number of volunteers for its Summer Youth Programs. Volunteers must commit to regular attendance, but not necessarily all day, every day. Some theatre experience is desirable. Responsibilities entail participating in professionally led improvisational theatre activities and assisting the professional theatre directors in all mutually agreeable ways, such as helping to gather props and costume pieces. Through active participation, volunteers learn improvisational theatre skills and acquire experience in play development.

Volunteers are always appreciated for field trips, for arranging car pooling, for arranging for snacks for closing day ceremonies and for similar support activities.
